Renewal retreat at Won Dharma Center
"With a humble and balanced state of mind, let us bring new life into this world so that we can become the seeds of hope. Let us transform ourselves into the light so that the light of our silent revolution can illuminate the entire world" Venerable Luksanim
I am so happy to be offering this retreat once again at Won Dharma in Klaverack N.Y. in the Catskills mountains. I first came to Won Dharma on retreat many years ago during a training in meditation and yin yoga and I just fell in love with the entire place. Driving into the property is like a giant exhale.....ahhhhh. The center owns 350 acres of beautiful wildflower fields, hiking paths and streams. (I have been known to dunk myself into the stream on a hot July morning) The food is delicious and farm to table, mostly vegetarian with a Korean influence.
Why do we want to retreat? Dedicated time for retreat is an opportunity to recognize our accumulated habits. In retreat, we are able to drop all of the busyness and overthinking in order to recognize what is most meaningful. The benefits of retreat (unlike vacation) can last for months. This is one of the reasons I retreat a couple of times a year.
Date: September 23-26 (four days)
Pricing: Single room $1200, Double room $880, Quad room $675
Deposit of $100 is required to reserve your spot. Deposit in nonrefundable August 1st
